As Covid 19 restrictions are gradually lifted there may be some confusion as to what our responsibilities are.
Infectious disease screening will still happen before treatment. If you are not feeling well please contact me and we can re-book you for later.
I will be wearing a mask for the time being in order to protect my clients from anything that I may have contracted, though not personally expressing symptoms. You may wear a mask if you are more comfortable wearing one.
A medical mask keeps people from coughing, breathing, and sneezing directly on others, and helps prevent transmission of disease. They are not 100% effective. Medical masks are a compromise between availability, comfort, and relative safety. It's good to wear one if you have to be in public and you are ill.
Best defense against sickness? Reduce your stress, exercise, get proper sleep and nutrition, replenish your spaces with fresh air (I pump relatively fresh air into my room and open the window between clients), wash your hands thoroughly or use hand sanitizer properly. Don't touch your eyes, ears, mouth, and nose, unless your hands are clean.
Remember, many people suffer from allergies. Be calm and don't be judgmental towards others.
Simply follow proper precautions and think of others. It is best for everyone.
